About Mahjongg
Mahjongg tiles are piled up together. You need to remove the mahjonggs pair by pair until they are all gone. You can only pair a mahjongg if it is not blocked from both sides and that it does not have other tiles stacked above it. Pick the mahjonggs strategically because a single mahjongg can block access to a lot of others. There are a total of 3 levels. The faster you finish, the higher your score.
Pick a game to start playing. If you're a logged in member you'll always earn one BrainCell for participating, and then you may win additional BrainCells if you finish as the top player. Hover over the prize amounts to see prize divisions.

About Mahjongg
Mahjongg, sometimes spelt as mahjong, is a game originally for four players that originated in China. The games involves strategy and calculation as well as, depending on the particular mahjongg variation, a certain degree of luck. Each player is dealt either thirteen or sixteen tiles in a hand and then at the start of each turn the player draws a mahjongg tile and discards another one. The player's purpose is to make one pair ("head") and either four or five certain sets of tiles ("melds"). In classic mahjongg when a player discards a tile any other player can call or bid for it in order to complete a meld in his or her own hand. This is a strategic decision as it declares to the other players what is being collected.
Online mahjongg allows players to play a mahjongg hand scenario one at a time as part of a large leaderboard instead of directly playing just three other players. It can be a good way to learn the basics of the game if you are a new starter. Through the ability to play mahjong online the game has spread far outside of its original locale in Asia and is now a globally recognised game. There is even a distinct American Mahjongg format of the game.
